Just as any human can benefit from excellent chiropractic care, so can any animal with a spine. Think about the stresses involved with a small dog jumping off a couch or bed several times a day--that would be like you jumping off a roof! Imagine the pounding endured by a 1000-pound horse landing after clearing a jump, with a rider and saddle on its back. Repeat multiple times. How about a dog twisting and leaping to retrieve that Frisbee, and then hitting the ground?
Repetitive mild injuries such as these often result in subluxations to the spine and extremities. Dr. Sue Ann has been a Certified Animal Chiropractor through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association since 2000. She has successfully treated dogs, horses, wolves, and the occasional cat.
If you think your pet has a condition that might be helped by Animal Chiropractic, talk to your veterinarian first to advise him/her that you'd like to obtain chiropractic care, and then call and speak to our staff at RWC to schedule an appointment. Dr. Sue Ann also sees critter patients on Mondays at Companion Pet Care in Littleton (444-0600).
